MUMBAI: Zee5’s upcoming movie Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai is all set to premiere, the movie which is based on the most viral incident where ‘Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’ was written on a currency note. This hilarious movie stars some amazing talent like Surbhi Jyoti and Jassie Gill in the lead roles. It is directed by Ssaurabh Tyagi while Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios has produced it.

The trailer of the movie was released during the press webinar with the presence of the cast and the director of the movie. Sharing some inside details about the movie director Ssaurabh Tyagi revealed some amazing facts about the late actress Surekha Sikri as this movie marks her last movie. The director with his teary eyes shared a small incident on how he convinced Surekha Sikri for this particular movie. 

The director revealed that when he met the actress Surekha Sikri for the movie, she was half paralyzed and not keeping well. The director told the actress that this is a 15 page narration of her character and the actress said yes you can go on with the narration and it took two and half hours for the entire narration of her character. And the actress said this is her condition and how she will do the movie director said he want only Surekha ji in the movie and the actress agreed to do the movie.

But later director got to know that Surekha ji said no for the film due to her medical issues, the director ran back to her house in the night to convince her for the movie. The director revealed that he will not force her to do the movie but he expressed that he wanted only her to do the movie and he had already decided the actress while writing the movie. 

And finally the actress said yes or the movie again, and director revealed that this was the best moment for him and the entire shooting process with the actress is a memory to cherish for. 

No doubt it is always a treat to watch the actress Surekha Sikri on screen portraying some different characters, and it will be amazing to see the last performance of the actress in the movie Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai which will premiere on Zee5 on 10th September. 

Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai also stars Vijay Raaz, Bijendra Kala and Atul Shrivastava in pivotal roles.
