Exclusive! Zeishan Quadri on working with Shahid Kapoor in Bloody Daddy, “He is very energetic and it was good to work with him”

MUMBAI :Shahid Kapoor starrer Bloody Daddy started streaming on Jio Cinema a few days ago. The movie starred many other actors in pivotal roles, and one of them was writer-actor Zeishan Quadri.

TellyChakkar recently spoke to Zeishan about the response the film has been getting, his experience of working with Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor, and more...

What response are you getting for the film?

Yes, the response has been good. Many people have liked the film, but there are people who found it okay, so the reviews have been mixed. But, mostly people have liked it.

A lot of people are stating that Bloody Daddy should have got a theatrical release. So, what’s your take on it?

Of course, every actor will want his film to get a theatrical release. But, at the end of the day, it’s business also and we have to think about that. The producers have taken this call, so they must have thought about it. But, if you ask me, yes it’s a film which should have got a theatrical release.

How was your experience of working with Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor?

Ali is a young director and he has a creative mind. So, I enjoyed working with him. With Shahid I worked for the first time and he is a very down to earth actor. He is very energetic and it was good to work with him. If I get a chance to work with again it will be fun.
