MUMBAI: With her acting contribution over the time actress Naila Grewal has been grabbing the attention of the fans and winning their hearts. The actress is currently ruling the hearts of fans with her series Maamla Legal Hai currently streaming on Netflix.

During the exclusive chat session with Tellychakkar actress Naila Grewal spoke on dream actors and directors to work with and also on her upcoming projects.

Any particular character which you are really looking forward to doing that has never been offered to you?

Naila Grewal shares, “As for future roles, I'm genuinely open to anything. I see myself as a blank canvas, eager to absorb a wide array of characters like a sponge. While I appreciate roles that resonate with my own experiences and allow me to bring a piece of myself into the character, I'm equally excited about the prospect of portraying characters that are vastly different from who I am. The challenge of stepping into the shoes of someone completely different presents a whole new set of hurdles, and that's where the real excitement lies for me as an actor. So, I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to explore a diverse range of characters, both those that reflect aspects of myself and those that push me outside of my comfort zone”

Any dream actors and directors you want to work with?

Naila Grewal adds, “When it comes to actors and directors I dream of collaborating with, I'm open to working with individuals of all backgrounds and styles. However, there are a few names that stand out for me. Vikrant Massey is someone I've been particularly drawn to, especially after watching his performance in "12th Fail." His versatility as an actor, showcased in films like "Death in the Gunj," has deeply impressed me. Similarly, actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi are masters of their craft, allowing for experimentation and improvisation in every scene. Their nuanced expressions convey layers of meaning, which I find incredibly inspiring. Tabu is another actor I admire for her exceptional talent and versatility.

The actress adds, “As for directors, Anubhav Sinha is someone I'd love to collaborate with again. Working on "Thappad" was a remarkable experience, as he provided us with the freedom to contribute and brainstorm ideas together. Directors like Sriram Raghavan and Abhishek Chaubey are also on my wishlist, as they have a unique vision and storytelling style that I deeply admire. I'm eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to work with these talented individuals in the near future”

What are your upcoming projects?

Naila Grewal says, “I'm excited to share details about my upcoming project, "Ishq Vishk Rebound." It's a nostalgic journey, bringing back the beloved romance of the early 2000s that we all cherished. This era, epitomized by the charming chocolate boy roles of Shahid Kapoor, holds a special place in our hearts. With our sequel, we aim to capture the same essence of youthful love that made the original film so beloved. While the setting and context may have changed, the core of love remains timeless. We're infusing the film with the same zest and charm of love, but presented in a contemporary style. It promises to be an enjoyable, delightful film, and I'm eagerly looking forward to sharing it with everyone”
