MUMBAI: Maharani season 1 released in the year 2021 and since then, Huma Qureshi’s fan base has only expanded due to her performance in the series. Maharani, season 1 and 2, showed a realistic and dark side of Indian politics.
After a successful run of two seasons, now the makers have released a new season wherein the story gets more intense and situations get tougher for Rani, played by Huma Qureshi. The creator of the show, Subhash Kapoor, does an excellent job of blending family with politics and showing the dark side of the game where every element of the society is a medium and every person is a pawn.

While the show released on 7th March, without giving out any spoilers, we are here with 5 reasons why you should watch Maharani 3. Take a look at the reasons below:
Huma Qureshi's revenge
Season 2 ended with Rani being arrested for her husband Bheema’s death while the murder was planned and executed by someone else. Now this season starts with Rani being in Jail and not wanting to leave. However, something happens that triggers her and that’s when the lioness roars to take her revenge from all of Bheema’s enemies. Therefore, she steps out of jail and that’s when the real show begins.
Martin Ekka and Mishra Ji investigation
In the previous season, we witnessed Martin Ekka, played by Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Mishra Ji, Played by Pramod Pathak, starting an investigation to find out who killed Bheema. While Martin Ekka’s investigation focuses on Bheema, we see Mishra Ji’s investigation taking a deeper route into the history of Bheema only to find out that it wasn’t Rani who killed Bheema. However, unable to save Rani from going to jail, this time the investigation continues to go even deeper as Mishra Ji finds out Kirti’s past and how things are different from how they appeared at first.
Dulari Yadav's death
We had seen how Dulari Yadav kills Manoj and Rani makes sure he suffers through jail time but things change by the end of the season. In the new season, Dulari becomes a hindrance for Navin and the latter tries to keep the former at a distance. Things take a dramatic route when Dulari is found dead but wait…here comes a twist as Rani makes a major move to defeat Navin.
Revelations
This season gets more intense and darker than the previous one. While the focus remains Rani’s revenge, there are many other things happeningin the backdrop that take a different shape by the time it reaches the surface and when the truth is found by going in deeper, it changes the perception of the audience and we see how Rani as a character has developed.
Dark theme with great performances
As we mentioned earlier, this season only gets darker than before. We get to see a few characters getting more importance than before and with Bheema out of the play, we see a lot of old characters taking the major chunk of screen time. This results in more entertainment as we get to see actors giving even more to their characters and the characters in turn having a better presence. Be it Amit Sial, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Pramod Pathak, Anuja Sathe or Huma Qureshi, these actors have surely made the show more interesting with their intense performances.
