The story of the show deals with a Bareilly based fearless man Nawab who seeks to rule the city of Mumbai which was named Bombay back in the 90s, we see the rise of Gangster Nawab who is also called a Hero, with the support of Lala and how his life changes after meeting Laila is something interesting to see.

The storyline which is based on the 90s is quite engaging and manages to grab the attention of the viewers, the screenplay is quite engaging and will not let you bore throughout the show.

Talking about performances, the leading man of the show, Parth Samthaan as Nawab shines throughout the series and indeed this is one of his best work, and you will surely the character Nawab only because of Parth Samthaan, on the other hand, Arsalan Goni who plays Lala will also be seen in completely different avatar and will win your hearts, Meenal Sahu as Mumtaz and Arshin Mehta as Manasvi were decent on their part.

The positive points of the show can be the storytelling, the story is divided into two timelines 1991 and 1995, and both are been carried perfectly fine to keep the engagement level intact, also the another most important USP o the show is the Hero of the show, Parth Samthaan, the BGM also makes its special place and enhance your viewing experience, also the dialogues of the show can be another USP, every episode had few clap worthy dialogues which will make the jump from your seats.

Apart from positive points, there are few negative points too of the show, there is an unnecessary use of abusive language in several scenes which after a point becomes irresistible, also the action scene especially the gunshots and explosive scenes looks were much artificial and can disrupt your viewing experience.

Well apart from all these points, the web series, Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu is completely worth your time if you are a fan of gangster-based movies and a Parth Samthaan fan.

Team TellyChakkar goes with 3.5/5 stars for Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu.
