Nareen Kumar on State of Seige 26/11: I realized I succeeded in becoming Babar Imran when my friends got scared of my behavior

State Of Seige 26/11 actor Nareen Kumar spills beans on his character in the series.

MUMBAI: The most-awaited series of the year State of Seige 26/11 has finally hit the web a few days back and the response from the viewers is simply mind-blowing. The gruesome terror attacks which happened in Mumbai's well-known area in the year 2008 had left millions of people heart-broken. Several people lost their lives in these deadly attacks.

Years after this incident, here's a heart-wrenching story for everyone to watch and State of Seige 26/11 is a perfect tribute to all the people who saved other's lives and lost theirs for the nation.

Nareen Kumar is one such actor who has been a part of this amazing series and he considers it an honour to have received such an incredible offer.

During his recent interview with TellyChakkar, Nareen opened up about various things related to this project.

When asked what made him give his nod to this project, he said, "When I came to know that the series is based on 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack, one of the major terror attacks on our motherland and a tragedy whose wound would always be alive in every Indian’s heart, I decided that this is an opportunity that I cannot miss. However, the cherry on the pie was the character of Babar Imran- a very dangerous, short-tempered, crazy, highly aggressive, merciless terrorist. I felt that it would be quite challenging for me and reaching that dimension will give me a lot of learning and acting insight during the entire process of this series, that too in an early stage of my acting career. So, without hesitation, I took up the offer to be the part of this series. What made the offer even more attractive was that it was being directed by Matthew Leutwyler."

Nareen was extremely honoured to get an opportunity to play the role of Babar Imran and he also revealed how he prepped for it. He said, "Preparing for this character was not easy for me. I saw all available relevant videos of terrorist attacks across the globe. I observed the body language of a trained terrorist. But reaching the mental state was still a challenging part for me. To get into the skin of the character, I tried a lot of different things. It was only when my friends started getting a little scared of my behaviour, I realized that I have succeeded in becoming Babar Imran."

Nareen's performance is being highly appreciated by the viewers.

Revealing about his upcoming shows, Nareen said that he has a couple of projects in his kitty which includes Nikamma directed by Sabbir khan. It also stars Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dassani, Abhimanyu Singh and Sharley Setia.  Nareen plays a prominent character in this movie and the viewers will get to see him in a completely different role. The film is set for 5th June release.

Well, Nareen, after watching your stellar performance in the State of Seige 26/11, we really can't wait to see you in your next project.
