MUMBAI: EE5 has revealed it will be releasing a lockdown special for its romcom Never Kiss Your Best Friend on June 18.
The streaming platform took to Instagram to tease the audiences with what the special might be about.
The lockdown special of Never Kiss Your Best Friend stars Nakuul Mehta (Sumer) and Anya Singh (Tanie) in the lead will most likely focus on a previous relationship in the upcoming special. It was earlier revealed that Zain Imam will also be joining the cast in a pivotal role.
Imam also took to Instagram to hint on what’s coming ahead.

The official description of the show is as follows: The story revolves around two best friends, Tanie and Sumer, who meet after 5 long years of separation. A heart-warming story that redefines the rules of friendship.
The show also grabbed attention as it featured an original song by Armaan Malik.
ZEE5 has been releasing a string of new releases such as Bhalla Calling Bhalla and Ghoomketu. Additionally, the OTT platform will be releasing AIB’s Chintu Ka Birthday after it received a special premiere last year.
The concept of creating lockdown specials has been on the rise with releases like Metro Park’s Quarantine Edition and A Viral Wedding.
