MUMBAI: Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most talented actors we have in the industry. He has been in the industry for 29 years and has starred in some wonderful films. Currently, the actor is busy garnering praises for his excellent performance in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai. While everyone is waiting for the third season of The Family Man, there is some interesting information on the hit OTT series.
The Family Man also stars Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi and is created by Raj & DK. The role of Srikant Tiwari which is essayed so brilliantly by Manoj Bajpayee was originally supposed to be played by none other than South star Chiranjeevi. Not just that, the now OTT series was supposed to be a Telugu film and its script was written keeping Chiranjeevi in mind revealed the show’s producer Ashwini Dutt. However, the latter was not convinced that the audience would accept him playing the father of two and thus rejected the film. The makers Raj & DK then made lots of alterations to the script but eventually it didn’t materialize.
The series was subsequently offered to Manoj Bajpayee who played the role perfectly. The second season of the show starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the antagonist and was just as successful as the first installment.
