MUMBAI: Netflix dropped the first few stills from their upcoming release, The White Tiger. This has sent the fans in a tizzy as they gave a glimpse of the film’s central characters played by global icon Priyanka Chopra, National Award winning Rajkummar Rao and young actor Adarsh Gourav. These fresh stills have PeeCee and Rajkummar in a very polished avatar, and sharing screen space with them is Adarsh Gourav, which has got us curious about his role in the film.
Netflix shared these first looks from the movie with the caption, “*CALMS DOWN AND STOPS SCREAMING* From writer-director Ramin Bahrani and executive producers @ava & @priyankachopra here's a first look at Adarsh Gourav, @RajkummarRao and @priyankachopra in THE WHITE TIGER, based on the fantastic Aravind Adiga novel!*GOES BACK TO SCREAMING*” Based on the novel of the same penned by Aravind Adiga, it has won Man Booker Prize for the author and will see fresh new pair on screen of PeeCee and Rajkummar.

This Netflix original is set to entertain the audience in December 2020. Directed and written by American filmmaker Ramin Bahrani who has won awards for her movies such as Chop Shop and At Any Price, it will be interesting to watch these actors come on screen together for the first time.
The film will see Adarsh Gourav play Balram Halwai, while Rajkummar plays his employer Ashok and PeeCee plays Rao’s onscreen wife.
The story is about social and economic mobility, caste oppression, globalization and more.
