After Salman, Baba Siddique gets Shah Rukh to hug Sohail Khan; Tellychakkar.com gives you a blow-by-blow account

Baba Siddique is at it again. After getting Salman Khan to hug Shah Rukh at his Iftar party, the high profile and good hearted politician got Shah Rukh to hug Salman's younger brother Sohail Khan and his sister Alvira Agnihotri, at a city five star, yesterday in the evening. This is what exactly happened. SRK was invited as the chief guest to launch fitness expert Deanne Panday's book. True to his style and habit, King Khan was fashionably late by two hours. And when SRK finally walked in, he did so with Baba Siddique in tow. Now it was a surprise to see this high-profile politician making his presence felt at a book launch. Once the launch was over, SRK moved into the private room where he was joined by other guests which included Mahesh Bhupati, Lara Dutta, Chunkey Pandey, his wife and many others. As the media started trickling out of the venue, a very casually dressed Sohail Khan entered the hotel along with his sister Alvira. Both milled around with Baba for some time. Now Sohail and Alvira making an appearance after the event was over raised our ever curious eye brows. The fact that Baba, who is close to both Khan families, was there to welcome Sohail also made us wonder the real reason behind his visit. We stuck around for some more time but didn't find anything worthwhile and took the elevator downstairs. As soon as we reached the lobby, we saw the hotel security frantically trying to clear the traffic from the entrance. Sensing that some drama was about to unfold, we hid in a corner and observed. Soon enough, Sohail Khan stepped out with sister Alvira and walked towards their black Range Rover. They were followed by Baba, Shah Rukh Khan and his celebrity manager Pooja Dadlani. And just when we thought Shah Rukh would get into his sparkling white BMW numbered 555, he did the unthinkable. SRK walked towards Sohail and warmly hugged him. Seeing them hug, Alvira also stepped out of her black Range Rover and hugged SRK while an elated Baba looked on. A cameraman tried capturing the moment but was stopped by a beefy bodyguard. Both Khans soon left in their respective cars with Baba driving with SRK. With this hug, it surely looks like SRK too, has taken a step from his end, towards ending any remaining bitterness that may be left between him and Salman. Just last week on Koffee with Karan (Star World), Salman made it a point to state that he and not Shah Rukh has always taken the first step towards ending their famed animosity. We are sure the hug would most certainly put a smile back on Salman’s face. Although the bonhomie between SRK and Sohail was delightful to watch, what remains unanswered is the reason behind Sohail Khan coming in at the last moment to meet SRK at a public event. Well, only Baba Siddique can answer that question.
