Humour is one thing, while crassness is a totally different ball game. Continuing his ‘roast’ streak, All India Bakchod’s (AIB) Tanmay Bhat poked fun at legends Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar.
The supposed humour was in really bad taste. Tanmay posted the video with the caption: Sachin vs Lata Civil War (I make such nonsense on my Snapchat - follow me there - ID: Thetanmay) (Also I obviously love Lata and Sachin, just having some fun).
Despite the disclaimer, the damage was done. Needless to say, the whole of Twitteratti exploded over Tanmay’s act.
Some lines from the show that clearly didn’t go down well AIB fans and others:
'Lata tai you are 5,000 years old so stay the phuck out of this, [sic]' 'Your face looks like someone has kept you in water for eight days[sic]' 'Jon Snow died, so you should also die. [sic]'
