Akshay Kumar lauds CRPF, BSF, and SSB's decision to recruit transgenders

MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar who is known for his patriotism recently took to his social media to laud the decision of central armed forces to recruit transgenders in the team. The  Union Ministry of Home Affairs had recently asked forces like BSF, CRPF, SSB, and two others to know about their views on recruitment of transgender people as officers. In response, BSF and CRPF have expressed willingness to make the environment in armed forced gender-neutral. Akshay appreciated this move with a tweet.

On his Twitter handle, the actor wrote, "Brilliant news! Now that’s a progressive move by the government in the right direction. I hope rest of the occupations in the country follow suit." He retweeted a tweet that spoke about this decision made by the armed forces and how it will bring about a change in society.

Well, the decision made by the armed forces deserves all the appreciation.
