MUMBAI : Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan posted a cryptic post on social media right after it was reported that he had purchased new real estate in Mumbai. Money Control revealed on Tuesday night that Big B purchased three brand-new office buildings in the city at a total of Rs 60 crores. Fans were confused when Amitabh took to X and published a cryptic message, even though he hasn't responded to the report yet.
He wrote, “T 5053 – वाह !! बस बोलने का मन किया (Wow, just felt like telling this).” Fans played along with him underneath the thread. “Wah!! Bas Sunne ka Mann kiya,” a fan replied to Big B. “वाह भाई वाह ❤️❤️,” added another. “वाह !! क्या बात है ,” a third user said.

It is rumored that the Andheri West office spaces were bought by the Kalki 2898 AD actor. Actors like Kajol, Sara Ali Khan, and Kartik Aaryan own commercial spaces in the same building where the apartments are located, the Veer Savarkar Signature Building.
According to the documents accessed by FloorTap.com, Big B paid Rs 59.58 crore for three office units. The office spaces are spread across 8,429 square feet of area. The office units also come with three car parking slots. As per the documents, Amitabh completed the transaction by paying Rs 3.57 crore.
Amitabh will be seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD. He will share the screen alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Amitabh portrays Ashwatthama, the character who faces off against Prabhas' Bhairava. During a press conference held to promote the film, Amitabh acknowledged that the idea of Kalki 2898 AD surprised him.
“When Nag Ashwin came and explained his idea to me, for the long time after he left I was thinking, ‘what the hell is Nagi drinking?’” Amitabh said, leaving Rana and his other co-stars in splits.
“To see something like this which is absolutely outrageous, some of the visuals that you have seen are unbelievable. To have somebody conceive a project which is so futuristic and possible… and during the making of the film, you realise that no matter what he thought of he actually brought all the material, all the effects, every kind of vision that he had to the screen and that’s been really amazing. For me to be just a part of it, has been an experience I’ll never forget,” he added.
Kalki 2898 AD is planned for release on June 27, 2024.
