MUMBAI : Amol Parashar's name rapidly comes to mind when discussing some of our nation's most versatile actors. Among the many excellent films the actor has worked on are Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Mili, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Sardar Udham, and others. Recently, the actor made news due to rumors about his alleged relationship with Konkona Sen Sharma, his co-star. However, in the craze, none of them have ever made the same comment.
In an interview with the popular news portal, Amol Parashar revealed details about his private life. When asked why he decided against making his relationship public any time soon, the actor explained. Amol clarified that he hasn't yet discovered an important reason to make it official, even though he didn't take his partner's name and kept her identity private. He also prioritized maintaining the value of his relationships.
She stated, “Nothing is stopping me. I have found no good reason to put it out there. And there is a sort of sanctity to actual real relationships. It feels a little more real. Also, what will I get out of it?”
Amol then mentioned that at the very core of it, he doesn’t wish to utilise his relationship status for PR and media attention. He revealed how many PR personnel have previously suggested to churn out false relationship speculations about him so as to be in the limelight.
He expressed, “It can be used for PR. Yaha nahi bhi hote relationships toh chala dete hai. Many people and PR’s have suggested to me in the past ki kuch chala dete hai.”
Amol Parashar stated that all he wants is for his audience to focus solely on his work. He continued by saying that his profession would be the channel through which he could share anything at all about his personal life.
Amol Parashar set the record right and explained that he and his partner is not hiding away from the media. He mentioned that he might decide to post a photo of himself with his ladylove at any time, but even that choice would be random.
Amol added, “I may just put a picture tomorrow. Soch ke kya karna hai? If it goes for a while, you prefer that. There is nothing we are missing out on. We are not hiding from people. We go to parties and all of that and people know. But to put something out there on the media hasn’t felt necessary. It is not like we need it. This is my longest relationship so far. We went through the lockdown and everything. So yeah, it is good and serious.”
