MUMBAI : King of romance Shah Rukh Khan has portrayed some commendable characters which not only define him as an actor but also get praised by his fans. Despite this, his character as an antagonist in Abbas Mustan’s Baazigar was his career-defining film.
The famous title track for the film Baazigar where the star was riding a horse with his face covered with a mask, was not actually him. Yes, you heard that right. In a recent interview, director duo Abbas-Mustan revealed that it was actually his body double that shot for the sequence.
The famous director duo, Abbas-Mustan was recently a part of a fan interaction where they were asked if SRK fell off a horse during the song’s shoot. In response they revealed that it was his body double with which they shot the portions where he could be seen riding the horse since the actor’s face was hardly visible. Mustan said, “He was wearing a robe, a hat, and a mask on his face and his eyes were covered. The horse riding was done by the horse owner, a body double.”
Further the director revealed another exciting fact while praising his acting skills, he said that when the song ends and he goes away from the camera, SRK is going down a slope and there is no horse in that scene. But the DDLJ actor acted like he was riding a horse where no one can believe that he is not sitting on a horse in that scene.
On the work front, SRK is gearing up for his upcoming project King with his daughter Suhana Khan.
