Referring to lesbianism and love marriages, she opined, “Most of the times taboos develop in our mind when we are made to view things differently out of our comfort zone. Earlier, love marriages were social taboo but now it is considered as a normal thing. In some places like UP, marrying a person of a different religion is still considered as a taboo.”
“As long as it is not creating any violence, I think how two consenting adults love each other behind the closed doors should not be a concern for others. I feel there are a lot more other issues in our society where people should emphasise on for the well being of our country as a whole,” she signed off.
