MUMBAI: The latest track, "Dekha Tenu," from the film Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, has quickly become a chart-topping sensation. Dominating streaming platforms and trending widely on Instagram reels, the song has won over audiences everywhere.
Recently, Bollywood best friends Alia Bhatt and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor joined the craze. In a collaborative Instagram post, Alia and Akansha shared a video of themselves vibing to "Dekha Tenu." The clip features the duo at a restaurant, where Akansha suddenly starts singing the song. Initially, Alia believes the serenade is for her, but then Akansha reveals she's singing it to a plate of French fries. The caption humorously reads, "This song, T̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶g̶i̶r̶l̶, These fries #MrAndMrsMahi in cinemas May 31st!"
Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
