Nawazuddin Siddiqui seems to be going places and there is no holding him back. After coming up the ladder with films like <em>Black Friday, New York, Peepli Live, Kahaani, Gangs of Wasseypur, Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2</em> and <em>Talaash</em>, the actor has been signed by Buddhadeb Dasgupta for his next film.
Speaking to Movie Chakkar, Nawaz briefed, “Yes, I have signed the film and will start shooting in March (2013). This will be my second film based in Kolkata, the first <em>Kahaani</em>.”
The film has him essaying a simple middle-class man who also doubles as a detective.

It is said that Dasgupta was pretty impressed by Nawaz’s histrionics and decided to make a film with him in Hindi though he had originally planned to make the same in Bengali.
Dasgupta’s who has made Hindi films like Andhi Gali in 1984 with Deepti Naval and the children’s film Woh is best known for the much-celebrated and National Award winner Bagh Bahadur.
