Censor Board clears Grand Masti; set to release in August-September

It was in the year 2004 when Maruti International’s Masti set a trend by presenting the hot topic of adultery in a new and refreshing manner by giving us a rip roaring insight into the lives of three married men having an extra marital affair to spice up their lives. The three men- Meet (Vivek Oberoi), Prem (Aftab Shivdasani) and Amar (Riteish Deshmukh) made us roll over with laughter, making the comedy a smash hit at the box office. Taking forward the legacy of the brand, the Masti team is back again with a sequel Grand Masti after a nine year hiatus. The film promises to be bigger, funnier and all the more merrier. Confirms producer Ashok Thakeria, “Grand Masti is a sequel to India's first adult comedy, carrying forward the tone set in the first part. I'm sure the audience will not be disappointed as we have taken this film many notches higher than its original." Post completion of its shoot, the film has been cleared by the Censor Board and is all set for an end August-early September release (2013). Directed by Indra Kumar, Grand Masti will again see the trio Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani along with Manjari Fadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni, Kainaat Arora, Bruna Abdalah, Maryam Zakaria, Suresh Menon and Pradeep Rawat.
