Deepika Padukone bags a Hollywood movie

Deepika Padukone
Looks like Deepika Padukone is a on a roll these days. After hitting the bull’s eye with Chennai Express, news now trickles in that Deepika has been signed on for the seventh instalment of Vin Diesel franchise Fast & Furious. It is said that she has bagged an important role in the thriller which also stars Hollywood biggies Statham and Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson. Bollywood hotties Kangana Ranaut and Chitrangda Singh had also auditioned for the role but it was Deepika who finally got luckier than the other two. Sources say that the makers were apparently looking for some tall and slim and Deepika perfectly fitted the bill for them. In fact, she was also the first one to be screen-tested by them for the role. Though Deepika is yet to complete the paperwork which sources say would take close to six months to complete, the process for the same has been initiated. Deepika who is currently shooting for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year in Dubai was not available for any comment. All we can say is we are happy to see you go places, Dippy. Even though sources claim that she has an important role to play, we would still keep our fingers crossed over this one till we actually see the movie.
