Did you know Dhanush was not the first choice for the movie Raanjhanaa, but it was THIS actor?

MUMBAI: How can we forget the movie, Raanjhanaa, the movie which gave Dhanush to Bollywood, the movie was loved by fans all over and was highly appreciated, the movie was loved for its simplicity and its love story, also the solid screenplay and the direction of the movie was the talk of the town and another highlight of the movie was the chemistry between Kundan and Zoya which was loved by the fans.

Having said that, Dhanush‘s performance was highly appreciated by the fans and was loved by all, but did you know? The movie was first not offered to Dhanush but to Shahid Kapoor.

Yes, you heard right, Earlier, Shahid Kapoor was roped in to play the lead role, but later Dhanush was signed on for the role, because Shahid was busy shooting his movie R Rajkumar, although we loved Dhanush in the movie, it would have interesting to see if Shahid Kapoor played the role, what are your views, does Shahid Kapoor would have to give justice to this role and movie, do let us know.

Raanjhanaa released in the year 2013, was directed by Aanand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma. The film is produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner of Eros International. It stars Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Abhay Deol.
