Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan to promote Ghanchakkar at railway stations

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan
These days, every big producer or production house comes up with unique promotional strategies for their respective films. Something similar has been planned by UTV Motion Pictures, the makers of Ghanchakkar. This time, they have planned to depute its lead actors Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan to railway stations across cities to promote the film. Talking about the unique promotional strategy, director Raj Kumar Gupta said, “The Mumbai local train is one of the most integral elements of the film and the makers have planned some fun and unique promotional methods for Ghanchakkar around local trains, one of them being Vidya and Emraan visiting the stations that feature in the film.” It is said that a major part of the movie has been shot at various stations in the city and in Delhi. But since Mumbai plays an important part in the film, the makers have decided to kick-start their promotional campaign from the megapolis. As part of the programme, both Emraan and Vidya will pay surprise visits to the stations and will also sell tickets at the counters. They will even encourage commuters to take the route they took while travelling in the film. The stations where the actors will be heading to are Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, Bandra, Santacruz, Khar and Dombivli among others.
