MUMBAI: Arjun Kapoor is stepping back into his lover boy avatar, and fans of his rom-com charm couldn’t be happier. After winning hearts with his roles in 2 States, Half Girlfriend, and Ki & Ka, the actor is making a grand return to the genre that made him a fan favourite. Following his much-loved villainous turn in Singham Again, Arjun is set to bring back the romance.
His upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, sees him in a full-fledged rom-com mode, a space he has always been comfortable in. The transition from an intense antagonist in Singham Again to a charming lover boy showcases his versatility and reaffirms his place in the industry.
"I’ve been fortunate that the audience has loved and accepted me in the romance genre in films like 2 States, Ki & Ka, and other films. It’s good to be doing something in the lighthearted zone. I hope the audiences shower me with the same kind of love and acceptance for Mere Husband Ki Biwi," he shares. "After playing Danger Lanka in Singham Again, its great to step back into the rom-com space. It’s like revisiting an old friend,” Arjun shares. “I’ve always loved stories that bring warmth, laughter, and love to the screen, and this film does exactly that. My goal is to make content that the audience likes and enjoys, so I'm happy to be doing a project in this space.”
With Mere Husband Ki Biwi on the horizon, Arjun Kapoor is set to once again showcase his romantic side, proving that no matter how many action-packed detours he takes, he’ll always have a soft spot for love stories.
