Here's some news that will please all die-hard aficionados of Kay Kay Menon. After essaying grey characters in Haider and Baby, Kay Kay Menon is now all set to essay the role of the main villain in the third installment of Bollywood's greatest blockbuster comedy franchise, Hera Pheri 3. Kay Kay Menon will be seen playing a don in the movie.
Confirming this news exclusively to Tellychakkar was director Neeraj Vora. Said Neeraj, "Yes, we have signed Kay Kay Menon to play the lead villain of Hera Pheri 3."
Elaborating on why he chose Kay Kay for the role, Neeraj shared, " The role demanded a very intense, very scary and very aggressive don. Comedy is a serious business. I wanted someone very scary to make the humour in my film stand out. You will see a different Kay Kay Menon in Hera Pheri 3. You will be shocked."
Meanwhile, the hunt for the three female leads are on with auditions happening in far away UAE as well. The first round of auditions have been completed and a few potential candidates have been shortlisted. Neeraj confirmed that three new female faces would be introduced in the movie.
The movie will be shot in India and abroad. "All set work will happen in Mumbai while outdoor will take place in Dubai, Gujarat and Goa. We have also plans to shoot some songs in Las Vegas in America," said Neeraj.
Produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Hera Pheri 3 has two new additions in the form of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham while Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty will reprise their usual roles. The movie will release in India on 18th December 2015.
