MUMBAI: Farah Khan Kunder is best known for directing films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, and is also an acclaimed choreographer. She has also turned an actor in the past for the movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi where she played the female lead opposite Boman Irani.
Farah Khan entered the Hindi film industry as a choreographer and has worked with countless big names of the industry. She has also judged a lot of reality shows and is currently a judge in Sony TV’s dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa season 11.
Majorly known for her choreographies, she has also turned a director in the past and the audience always loved her movies.

In a conversation with a well-known media outlet, Farah Khan was asked about the song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from her movie Om Shanti Om which is now remembered as an epic song for the kind of star power it has.
While giving insights about the making of the song, Farah Khan talked about the kind of presence Mithun da had and the kind of fan-following she got to witness. Farah Khan said, “Mithun da ke liye was the biggest craze. Even I didn’t believe. There was actually a stampede on set. Aur Mithun da bhi bohot saalo ke baad aaye the toh there was a stampede matlab there was light-man, light-boys, I think Mithun da was in Cineartist so he has done a lot for them. Matlab there was a stampede. Literally Sharukh Ko phone de rahe the ki photo kheecho humari.”
