Dangal

Dangal

Unquestionably one of the greatest Bollywood films, Dangal captures the essence of the bond between a father and daughter. Based on a true incident, the film stars Aamir Kha, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra and tells the tale of a father who makes sure his daughters win an Indian gold medal in wrestling. Dangal is available on Prime Video.

Drishyam

This 2015 film, starring Ajay Devgn, demonstrates the lengths parents would go to protect their kids from various dangers. The man at the center of the story weaves a web of lies to keep his wife and daughter safe. Shriya Saran and Tabu play important roles in Drishyam, a 2013 Drishyam film adaptation starring Mohanlal. Drishyam is available on Netflix.

Piku

The close relationship between a father (Amitabh Bachchan) and his daughter (Deepika Padukone) is portrayed in Soojit Sircar's Piku. In the movie, the daughter looks for her sick father and grants his wish to go by vehicle from Delhi to Kolkata. Irrfan Khan plays important roles in the movie as well. Piku can be viewed on Prime Video.

Paa

The moving tale of 13-year-old Auro (Amitabh Bachchan), who has a rare genetic condition that causes his body to age quickly, is told in R Balki's 2010 film Paa. The young boy, who was raised by his mother Vidya Balan, expressed a constant desire to see his father Abhishek Bachchan, but his mother withheld some details about her history from him. Auro's relationship with both of his parents grows stronger when they eventually meet, giving him the opportunity to see them both before he passes away. Paa cannot be streamed online at this time.

Angrezi Medium

Homi Adajania is the director of this 2020 film, which tells the tale of a father who goes above and beyond to grant his daughter's ambition to attend college in London. Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan play the main characters in the film. Angrezi Medium is available onDisney+ Hotstar.
