MUMBAI: For a couple of weeks, Shilpa Shetty has been in the headlines for the arrest of her husband Raj Kundra for his involvement in making porn movies and trapping young girls.
The media have been speculating a lot about what Shilpa had to say about the case, and thus, the actress has finally broken her silence.
She released a statement on her social media account where she has said not to believe any reports and speculation about her.
In her statement, she mentioned the trolls and questions put on her and the family and has made it very clear that she hasn’t commented on this subject and will continue to refrain from doing so on this case as its subjudice. She requested the media to stop attributing false quotes to her.

She also said that as a celebrity, she believes in never complaining and never explaining. She added that it’s an ongoing investigation and she has full faith in the Mumbai Police and the judiciary system, and as a family, she is taking recourse to all the available legal remedies.
And she humbly requested everyone as a mother to respect their privacy for her children’s sake and refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same.
In the end, she said that she is a law-abiding citizen and has worked hard for 29 years and never let anyone down.
She and her family deserve privacy and don’t need a media trial.
Well, the latest development on the case is that the police have found 50 porn films on Raj’s phone and laptop and he has been sent to police custody until August 10.
