Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor arrested in Geetika Tyagi molestation case

Subhash Kapoor
Director Subhash Kapoor who was accused of molestation by actress Geetika Tyagi was arrested and produced in the metropolitan court of Andheri today. The Versova police arrested the director and charged him under sections 354, 354A, 354B and 501.The director was reportedly granted bail in lieu of depositing a bond of Rs. 10,000. The molestation matter came out in open when Geetika along with her director friend Atul Sabharwal, released a discreetly shot video in February where Subhash was allegedly seen accepting his guilt. Geetika later pressed charges of molestation against the director and police thereafter started their investigations. There were also allegations of the police trying to water down the case which made the National Commission for Women(NCW) in Delhi interevene on Geetika’s request. The NCW asked Maria to take immediate action and police sources were quoted saying that Subhash Kapoor would be arrested immediately after he returns to the country from abroad. The police, it seems, have now added the stringent sections relating to molestation and promptly arrested and produced him before the court today. Geetika, meanwhile expressed her vindication by tweeting: “Subhash Kapoor has been arrested today. I have full faith in the Indian judicial system. Thanks Mumbai police.” We tried reaching Subhash on his cell phone but it was switched off.
