PK will go down in the annals of Bollywood as the first ever Hindi cinema to touch the 300 crore mark. While on one hand the film has attracted immense praise, on the other, it has also received brickbats from a section of Hindu radicals. Bollywood though has lavished praise on the movie except for one actress who took a stance slightly controversial.
Juhi Chawla, Aamir's good friend and co-star from many hit movies had earlier spoken about her 'issues' with PK without elaborating on it in detail. The actress who watched the movie with her family last year expressed her opinion via Twitter.
"I have some issues with PK .. I agree with a lot of things but disagree with some. Now that's a good film. One that stirs thought and discussion," wrote Juhi.
When Aamir was asked to comment on Juhi's tweet, the superstar actor said that he would ring Juhi up and discuss the so called issues with her.
Juhi meanwhile has refused to clarify the exact nature of these 'issues'. At a book launch yesterday, when we asked Juhi to throw light on her concerns with PK, the actress excused herself saying that the occasion was not appropriate to discuss the matter.
However when asked if Aamir has indeed called her to discuss and resolve the matter, Juhi replied in negative. "No he hasn't. And when he does, I will let everyone know about it."
Somehow we feel that call from Aamir will never ever happen.
