Ana de Armas’ rise to the lead role is a powerful story in itself. Born in Cuba, she began her acting career in Spain, starring in Spanish-language films before making her English-language debut alongside Keanu Reeves in Knock Knock (2015)—a film she shot while still learning English on set. Nearly a decade later, she reunites with Reeves, not as a newcomer, but as a formidable action star in her own right.
