Koena Mitra on Mukesh Bhatt comparing Sushant Singh Rajput to Parveen Babi: It was the ugliest statement I have ever heard

Koena Mitra questions why Mukesh Bhatt hasn’t been summoned for interrogation, and also reacts to him comparing Sushant Singh Rajput to Parveen Babi.

MUMBAI: Dil Bechara premiered on Friday with rousing applause and everyone on the internet saying great things about the movie and Sushant Singh Rajput as to how the movie was a lovely tribute to the actor. Actress Koena Mitra is someone who has always spoken her mind and has been vocal about things going on around her. In an interview with Etimes Tv, the actress famously known for her performance in Saki Saki, expressed that she is surprised that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family didn’t come forward and demand an inquiry. She also talked about the statement made by Mukesh Bhatt, the problems in the industry and the bitterness on social media.

In the interview, Koena Mitra questioned why there had been no inquiry about Mukesh Bhatt and why he wasn’t questioned by the police. She further stated that the statement by Mukesh Bhatt comparing Sushant to Parveen Babi was the ugliest statement she has ever heard. “I want to know why there is no inquiry about Mukesh Bhatt, I don't know why police did not question him. I mean how do you know that Sushant was into depression and if you knew why didn't you help him. That was such a gross statement where you are calling Sushant Singh Rajput the next Parveen Babi,” said Koena.
