MUMBAI: The leading actress of the famous show ‘Kundali Bhagya’, Shraddha Arya has recalled about her journey where she states that being recognised by the character's name is the ultimate validation for her as an actor.
Shraddha who plays the role of Preeta Arora seems to be happy in the recognition she receives as Preeta, a name that has become her second identity.
Expressing her gratitude for being the part of this show for a long time now and emphasising the thrill of being associated with a character that has deeply connected with viewers, Arya said: "It feels magical when fans and people address me by my character, Preeta. Being recognised by your character's name is the ultimate validation for an actor. It's a testament to the hard work and dedication that goes into bringing a character to life. I am genuinely happy and grateful for the love and support from my fans."
Further she highlighted the changing nature of her character and acknowledged the ups and downs that come with playing a role in a daily soap.
She said, "Developing a character is a demanding journey that requires commitment and perseverance, it’s a rollercoaster ride. I was recently out shopping and heard someone's mother saying to her daughter ̃Woh Preeta hai naa that moment really made me smile. The aim is to become synonymous with your character's name, and attaining that recognition entails a significant investment of time and dedication.”
Kundali Bhagya is a spinoff of Kumkum Bhagya and has won over the audience. It has ruled the roost on the BARC charts and it has had a successful run so far.
