MUMBAI: In a shocking turn of events, actress Laila Khan who was previously reported missing was found dead along with her 4 siblings and mother. Laila’s step father Parvez Tak was found guilty of murdering the family in February 2011. The quantum of sentence will be announced by the sessions court next week.

Parvez, who was Shelina’s third husband, along with the help of the house help Shakir brutally murdered Laila, her four siblings and mother Shelina, wrapped their bodies in mattresses and pillows, and buried their bodies in the backyard of their Igatpuri farmhouse.

Reportedly after a heated argument between Parvez and Shelina regarding her closeness with her second husband Asif Shaikh, Parvez hit Shelina on the head with an iron rod. When Shelina’s son Imran, daughter Azmina, and niece Aafreen came to her rescue, they too were clubbed with the rod and stabbed to death. 

During this shocking turn of events, Laila and her sister Zara were in Mira Road, Mumbai closing a land deal. Parvez was aware that they were carrying Rs 2 crores and lots of jewellery with them to the farmhouse.

Shakir and Tak picked them from Mira road and brutally murdered them as well at Ghodbunder road before wrapping them in mattresses and burying them with the others.

Shelina’s first husband and Laila’s father Nadir Patel had filed a police report in Oshiwara regarding the family’s disappearance. He had blamed Tak and Shakir for them going missing. Shakir was arrested in Bengaluru but later released. Tak had escaped with two family cars to his hometown in Kashmir and was later arrested there.

According to the kids, Tak used to force the girls to go to Dubai for prostitution.
