MUMBAI: Manisha Koirala has been one of the most known faces in 90s' Bollywood movies. Many years later, she made a comeback on the digital platform with the Netflix movie ‘Maska’ that gained a lot of popularity and impressed the audience with her role in it. The actress with a number of super hits to her name recently was recently slammed on social media for supporting the new map of Nepal.

For a number of years now there has been a border dispute between India and Nepal and things stirred up when the Foreign Minister of Nepal, Pradeep Gyawali informed in his tweet about a new map of the country of Nepal with the inclusions of Kalapani and Lipulekh, which are the disputed regions. To the same tweet of the Foreign Minister, Manisha replied by tweeting, 'Thank you for keeping the dignity of our small nation..we all are looking forward for a peaceful and respectful dialogue between all three great nations now.'
A lot of Indians did not appreciate the actress for her reply and slammed her for not supporting the country who gave her fame and is instead supporting Nepal.
