Maybe Veena Malik's PR team wants her to play a seductress: Rajeev Anand

Rajeev Anand, who has been in the field of advertisements, music videos, TV serials and been part of a Japanese film called Pride, a French film titled Letter Service, a Cannes fest entry Butterfly From the East, is on the last lap of shooting for his latest Hindi film Mumbai 125 kms 3D that has been directed by Hemant Madhukar. The film stars Veena Malik in the female lead. In the movie, Rajeev plays Veena’s character’s husband Adhikar. The film follows- youngsters on a road trip who encounter a nightmarish experience 125 kms away from Mumbai as they are killed one by one by a ghost. Our source informs us that though Adhikari is the only positive character in the movie, the horror element in the film commences with his entry. The entire mystery revolves around the husband wife relationship. “You need to wait and watch till the end of the film to find out as to what that mystery may be,” Rajeev quips. Regarding his co-star Veena, Rajeev says, “Maybe her PR team wants her to portray herself as a seductress. If she gets proper roles, she can do very well as she has a huge potential and is a brilliant actress.” When quizzed about Veena’s surprise disappearance from the film that created a lot of controversy, the actor replies, “That was definitely a hoax and a planned strategy. Maybe her PR team had given her the wrong advice. I am very much sure that Hemant wasn’t involved in this. He had told us that he wasn’t banking simply on Veena’s celebrity status anyway, so he wouldn’t have used her as a publicity stunt. After all, the film has also has fine actors like Bhavesh Yadav,Vedita Pratap Singh and Aparnaa Bajpai. The film, that has a good plot, is technically very sound and has been shot on a 3D camera.” The forthcoming films of Rajeev are Colors directed by Rajesh Chavan (associate of Anees Bazmee), Kamathipura with Ankush Bhatt, a yet-to-be-titled film with Kittu Saluja and another big film with Ayush Raina.
