MUMBAI: Businessman and husband of Shilpa Shetty Raj Kundra was taken into custody on July 19 for allegedly producing and distributing adult films and now he gets bail from Mumbai Court. Now, Actress Gehana Vasisth, who has been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in a pornography case linked with Raj Kundra, will appear before the Mumbai Crime Branch on Thursday.

While talking to ETimes, she revealed the reason behind receiving the bail, "Hon. Supreme Court of India has allowed my interim application of bail with a condition to attend when required by the investigating authority so I am appearing before the Property Cell, Byculla tomorrow 23rd September 2021 at 11 am to record my statement.”

She further added that she has always spoken the truth. She said, “I have been saying right from the beginning that joh sachcha hai wahi jeetega (the truth shall prevail) and I am happy that I have got interim bail from the Supreme Court. I feel I was always in the right and what I did was right, that is why good things are happening to me.”

Gehna claims that she has been framed in pornographic cases on multiple occasions, she restated, “Please, believe me, I have never misguided anyone, nor have I cheated or committed any fraud. I have never usurped anyone’s money. Mujhe fasaya gaya hai (I’ve been framed) and I know, in the end, the truth will prevail.”
