MUMBAI: Arshad Warsi has done some phenomenal work in the past. The actor will be seen sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon in the film Bachchhan Paandey. Check out what the star has to say about his camaraderie with Akshay and Kriti. He also spoke about what made him say yes to the project and if is he choosy while selecting a film.

I really like Akshay Kumar. I knew about him as a person and as an actor. That he is like this and that. We hear from other people but that is only for hearsay. When we personally meet him and interact, that is when we come to know what kind of person Akshay really is. I also heard that Kriti Sanon is a horrible person to work with. Akshay is champ and a really good person at heart. That is one reason that guys like him don't fade out. Everybody wants to cast him because he is an absolutely trouble-free person.

What are the factors you keep in mind before saying yes to a project?

My first listening or narration is purely as an audience to understand whether I want to watch this film or not. If I feel that I want to see the film, then I say yes to the project. It could be any genre, even horror. As long as I know that the audience will see it, I okay the film. I mean, when you listen to a story, it's your gut feeling that says yes to be a part of it or not.

Are you choosy about the films you do?

Everybody has their own personality. My way of life, my way of thinking, and my approach towards work is not the optimum way to be in the film industry. To be in a lead role, there should be a certain mindset and certain drive you need that I don't have in me.

Bachchhan Paandey has been the talk of the town from the time the trailer of the film was released. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
