No bad blood between me and Vikramaditya Motwane - Imran Khan

Imran Khan
Speculations have been rife about how Imran Khan was unceremoniously shunted out of Vikramaditya Motwane’s upcoming social drama Bhavesh Joshi. However, setting the record straight Imran clarified that he parted on a good note with the director. “It was a mutual decision to part and there is absolutely no bad blood between both of us. Since the project was not working out well, we decided to end it on common grounds,” said Imran. However, when asked to explain the reason behind his exit from the movie, Imran politely declined to state the same. “I think it is very disrespectful to talk about a movie that didn't work out for whatever reasons. Talking about a movie that I am no longer a part of will only be damaging both to me and the project. What I will say is there are absolutely no issues or any ill-will. It ended on a very good note between me and Vikram.” After Imran’s exit, reports of Vikram having signed on Sidharth Malhotra to essay the lead role cropped up. When we asked on what he thought about Sidharth, Imran said, “I think Sidharth is a good choice and Vikram will make a good film.” Imran, does however regret that he couldn't be a part of Bhavesh Joshi. “I regret we were not able to make it work. That is unfortunate. But I am sure something else will come in future.” Well, we hope so too, Imran.
