MUMBAI: One of the most loved Bollywood movies Life Partner was loved by the fans for its amazing storytelling, the movie which has Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza and Prachi Desai in lead roles threw light on the love marriage and arrange marriage with a lovely message, also an actor who played the divorce lawyer was loved by the fans.
But did you know? Initially, not Govinda but Akshay Kumar was offered this role, yes you heard right. It is said that Akshay not only liked the script and was excited to come on board but had also allotted dates for the overseas schedule of the film. So, what went wrong?. As per the reports, Akshay Kumar had demanded Rs 12 crores for his part in the movie back then. The producers supposedly felt that it would affect the overall budget of the movie. The director duo, Abbas-Mustan offered Rs 8 crores to the actor, but he didn’t accept the offer and backed out from the project.
Apart from this many of you don’t know that it was Akshay who suggested the movie title ‘Life Partner’ to Rumi & Abbas-Mustan.
