One should find time for his better half at all times: Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi, who has recently earned the status of a proud father of a baby boy, cannot hide his love for his better half Priyanka Alva Oberoi. Talking about Valentine’s Day, the cool star says,“ If you have a loving wife as I have, every day is 14th of February for you. For me, each moment is an excuse to tell her, in a small way, that I am so thankful for her being in my life.”

For me, each moment is an excuse to tell her, in a small way, that I am so thankful for her being in my life.” Talking of women in general, he says, “Women understand and nurture relationships better than men, who on the other hand, stop seeming to care once they are in a committed zone. They forget how lonely they were before that someone special walked in their lives. They only react once they feel threatened about the presence of someone else.” Elaborating on the same, Vivek continues, “All the men folk will know how finicky we get on our first date; we need to make sure that we get at the appointed place on time, wear the right clothes and also utter the correct stuff. I have had friends who were in long relationships suddenly coming up and telling me, ‘dude I don’t know why she just left’. And I observe, ‘bro, I could see this coming six months ago, how could you not?” “A man should understand that though work is important, but he needs to find time for his love. See, in my case, though I am busy promoting two of my impending releases, yet I was always there during Priyanka’s entire pregnancy period, check up etc. Now with the baby around, I will make it sure that I am a hand’s on dad as well,” the actor answers a query of a man’s commitment to his wife even in his busy schedule. Before bidding us goodbye, Vivek informs us that back in time Valentine’s Day was a day when he would disappear for then, the women around would want to take the relationship to the next level. “May be they would ask for something which I couldn’t avoid; hence I would not be around that particular day of the year,” he ends. Vivek's next release is Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story!!!
