Pakistani actress Veena Malik gets married in Dubai

Controversy Queen Veena Malik got hitched on Christmas Eve to a businessman named Asad Bashir Khan Khattak. The marriage was reportedly solemnized in Dubai yesterday. Earlier today, she tweeted a picture of herself and her husband. What comes as a surprise is the secrecy with which Veena chose to get married. For someone who has always enjoyed the media spotlight, getting married discreetly is the last thing one would have imagined Veena to do. It is also believed that the reception which will be held in Dubai will be an equally quiet affair. The couple will then proceed on a pilgrimage to Mecca. A Geo report was quoted saying that Veena’s husband Asad Bashir runs businesses in Dubai and US and is the son of Veena's father's friend. Veena who first caught media attention as the girlfriend of disgraced Pakistani cricketer Mohd. Asif has been trying her luck desperately in Bollywood but in vain. Looks like Veena too, has finally decided to move to greener pastures by marrying a businessman.
