MUMBAI: Mirzapur fame, Pankaj Tripathi has been winning the hearts of millions through his work over the time. But did you know that the actor did not even have a bank account till he was 22 years old? During an interaction with a leading media portal, the actor was asked about his bank balance back then and that’s when he revealed not having an account. Also the actor who began his acting career with theatre, revealed having no set thought about his career.
Replying to the question about his bank balance when he was 22, he said, “Zero. I didn’t even have a bank account!” Today being one of the most talented actors, when he was quizzed about his frame of mind, he replied, “My thoughts kept changing from day to day, like with any other 22-year-old. I was drawn to literature and travel.” He also revealed even though he was working in plays and was preparing for National School of Drama, he had also signed up for Food Craft Institute in Patna.

The actor shared though his father wanted him to become a doctor, his parents were supportive of him when it came to his career choice. The actor when asked if there is one thing he would like to change, he replied, “Nothing. I’ve become what I am because of the crises and daunting situations I faced at 22.”
Recently seen in the Salman Khan produced movie, Kaagaz, the actor was praised for his acting chops. This movie showed him to be a dead man on papers, speaking about his character he said, “I had to play this character. I had to know what happens to a mind when it’s put through such a strange situation. I am very proud of Kaagaz. I regard it as the most important film I’ve done so far.”
