MUMBAI: Dhanush is one of the most popular actors who majorly works in the South Indian cinema. The actor has also made his presence in the Hindi movie industry with movies like Raanjhanaa, Atrangi Re and Shamitabh. Not just as an actor but Dhanush has also turned producer for movies like 3 (debut as producer), Maari, Cinema Veeran, Pe Paandi, Kaala, Maari 2, and Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (upcoming as producer). Dhanush has directed Pa Paandi and will be directing Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam.

Today, Dhanush’s second film as a director and his 50th film as an actor, has been released and the audience was all set to watch him once again as he was last seen in Captain Miller. Dhanush starring movie ‘Raayan’ has been launched and the audience is loving the movie but at the same time it is also getting a mixed review from the fans saying that the director and the technical aspect has saved the movie as the story isn’t up to the mark for them.
The cast of Raayan includes Dhanush, Amala Paul, Prakash Raj, Sundeep Kishan, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Nithya Menon. The movie is based on a young man whose family gets killed and so he decides to train himself and take his revenge but in his trial to punish the ones who are responsible, the trial takes a turn in such a way that he gets introduced to the Underworld.
It seems that South movies are doing really great at the box office. Before Dhanush’s 50th movie, there came Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th movie Maharaja. According to the latest reports, Aamir Khan has bought the Hindi remake rights and is going to make some slight changes according to the Hindi movie audience.
Earlier, Aavesham’s Hindi remake rights were also bought by a producer and it seems that we might get to see some more Hindi movies remade from South movies. Looking at the way things are going, fans are speculating if Raayan’s Hindi remake rights would also be sold. According to the fans, Shahid Kapoor is the perfect choice to play the main lead. It’ll be interesting to see if the movie will really be remade in Hindi.
