Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami just got bigger with Bollywood's King, Shah Rukh Khan deciding to endorse it. Shah Rukh who is known to be extremely selective about associating himself with film projects that are not his own was apparently impressed with the novel story of the film that revolves around an ageing father(played by Anupam Kher) and his two sons. SRK himself has always come across as the perfect family man. Not only has been a doting father but also an exemplary son. Sources reveal that SRK grew emotional after watching the rushes of the movie which reminded him of his own late father with whom he shared a great bond. And without any further ado SRK decided to lent his star support to the movie. When asked what it means to have SRK's support, producer of the movie, Abhinav Shukla of Nautanki films said, "Mr. Khan liking the film is a great morale booster for us. As a producer I always wanted to make entertaining, yet massy and meaningful content for cinema and this movie defines it." When nostalgia struck SRK after watching the rushes, it was a proud moment for debutante director Ravindra Gautam who couldn't contain his joy at his work having been applauded by none other than King Khan himself. "With Mr Khan getting emotional while still smiling is a great achievement for me in my first film itself. I have tried the to keep the soul alive with humour and entertainment," shared Ravindra. The trailer of Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami will be launched by SRK in the presence of the cast and crew of the movie including Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia, Divyendu, Abhinav Shukla, Ravindra Gautam and others at a suburban theater on Monday evening.
