MUMBAI: Sonakshi Sinha is one of the most talented and loved actresses of the Hindi Film industry. The actress is currently enjoying accolades for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Currently she has been grabbing headlines for her marriage with BF Zaheer Iqbal.

Sonakshi has been asked about her wedding plans on various occasions and in a recent interview, she opened up about it saying, “I get asked about it all the time, and now, it’s like it goes in one ear and out the other. Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious… what can we do about it?”

According to a source close to the couple, the duo moved in a while ago, and with their families' approval, and they are getting married. The insider added that on June 23, 2024, the wedding will be held at the South Mumbai restaurant Bastian, and that evening will see a reception party. Since the actress's father was preoccupied with the election, Sonakshi and Zaheer had been preparing for the wedding for a while. They were only waiting for it to be finished.

Details on Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding invitation were previously disclosed in a news portal that went viral in the entertainment industry. The invitation has a letter that says, "The rumors are true," and it looks like the cover of a magazine, according to sources. The wedding ceremonies will be held at Bastian, Mumbai, and the couple has asked that guests wear formal dress.

Although Sonakshi and Iqbal have not officially announced their relationship, they keep sharing sweet glimpses of each other on social media. As per reports, the duo will tie the knot on 23rd June 2024.
