MUMBAI: The renowned actress Sonali Kulkarni has released her most recent Marathi book, So..Kul Take 2, which is a compilation of her own thoughts and observations on daily life as well as her lengthy and famous career in film. While retaining her trademark mix of humour and sympathy, Sonali gives readers a peek into her opinions on people, places, travel, current events, and political issues in this book.

The second installment builds on the popularity of Sonali's debut book, So..Kul, by demonstrating her ability to turn everyday events into captivating stories. Her heartfelt opinions on societal concerns, such as women's empowerment, children, and the crucial role of housekeepers, are presented in some articles, while others provide humorous insights derived from ordinary events. Her emotional depth and acute feeling of human connection are also reflected in the book's extremely poignant obituaries. Vishwas Nangare Patil, the director general of the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Maharashtra, her editor Alhad Godbole, and numerous other members of the Marathi and Hindi film industry attended the book's debut in Mumbai.

Sonali Kulkarni said, "My readership is as wide as my audience," in reference to the event. I meet people that inspire me to keep writing, whether I'm at a show, movie premiere, or other event. I enjoy writing, but it frequently takes a backseat to my acting duties and social issues, which occupy a significant portion of my time. I want to spend more time on it this year. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Rajhans, my publishers, and all of my editors for their constant support and wise counsel during this process. Kul, then, is a manifestation of who I am, a moniker, an alias, or my way of thinking. I write because I live.

"I would also like to thank my friends and colleague, Sonali Bendre, for accepting my offer to launch the book," she continued. Given that Sonali is a "book warrior" and has a very active book club, I could not have asked for better representation. We definitely need this boost in a world where people's attention spans are getting shorter.

"I'm so happy to see So Kul...take 2 hit the shelves!" shared Sonali Bendre Behl. Celebrating the power of the written word and storytelling is always a pleasure. I've had a chance to read a few of the chapters, and they do a wonderful job of capturing ordinary situations with warmth, depth, and astute observation. As someone who values books and the discussions that surround them, I genuinely value Sonali's ability to engage readers with her writing. I'm happy to be a part of her literary path and to be here today."

Sonali Kulkarni's poetic pen and perceptive eye allow her to capture the essence of human nature and life, letting readers follow her words as they would follow her performances on stage and television.

So..Kul Take 2 is in Marathi language. Priced at INR.350, the book is now available across major stores in Maharashtra in both paperback and hardcover formats. It is also available on Amazon.
