MUMBAI: The much-awaited historical epic "KESARI VEER" Legends of Somnath is set to redefine the cinematic landscape with its gripping depiction of the 14th-century defense of the sacred Somnath Temple. Directed by Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan under the prestigious debut production banner Chauhan Studios. The film celebrates the unwavering faith and valor of warriors devoted to Lord Shankar during a tumultuous era.

Unparalleled Authenticity in Design and Execution

Sources close to the production reveal the extraordinary lengths and detailing taken to ensure historical accuracy. The filmmakers crafted eight to ten  colossal canons (topes) weighing approximately 250 kilograms each, which proved to be a logistical challenge during filming in mountainous terrains. Transporting these canons required cranes and a team of 20-25 individuals to change the directions for each shot, underscoring the film's commitment to authenticity.

In addition, specially designed props were created to enhance realism, including a meticulously crafted 15-kilogram Trishul (trident), an 18-kilogram hammer, and intricately designed armor weighing 35 kilograms. These weapons and costumes not only reflect the era but also symbolize the grandeur and scale of the epic battle of faith.
