Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: Family lawyer Vikas reacts to SC verdict

MUMBAI: Finally, it is victory for all the family and fans of Sushant Singh Rajput. The SC announced its verdict saying that the CBI will take over the investigation.

Well, the actor's family lawyer Vikas Singh has opened up and said, "This is a victory for Sushant Singh Rajput's family. The Supreme Court ruled on all points in our favour. The Court also clearly said that the FIR registered at Patna was correct."

"The Supreme Court also said that any other FIR registered in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput's death will also be investigated by the CBI. We hope that we should get justice very soon. The family is very happy with the verdict," he added. 

Moreover, Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, took to Twitter and in a series of tweets, she said, "There we go!! Finally!! CBI for SSR!! #CBITakesOver." 

In another tweet, she wrote, "Thank you God! You have answered our prayers!! But it is just the beginning... the first step towards the truth! Full faith in CBI!! #Victoryoffaith," followed by another tweet saying, "Congratulations to my extended Family!! So happy... first step towards victory and unbiased investigation. #JusticeforSushantSingRajput #OurfullfaithonCBI."

Well, this is indeed a small victory for all the fans, friends, and family of the actor and they see a ray of hope in the case.
