MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case is one of the most sensational ones, and people around the world have joined the movement for justice. Now, with the CBI investigating this case, more and more revelations are emerging.
India Today has accessed prime accused Samuel Miranda’s statement to the agencies. In his statement, he has said that he was hired by SSR’s sister Priyanka and her husband, who had interviewed him before hiring him. His tasks included managing the house, handling the staff, and paying their salaries.
He also revealed that Priyanka and her husband had shouted at a staff member Abbas, who then left the job along with Dipesh. Miranda had gone on leave in July 2019, and when he returned, he came to know that Shruti Modi had been appointed as his new celebrity manager and Rhea had moved in with him.
Samuel further stated that Rhea’s parents and brother would come quite often to meet the actor. He also revealed that Rhea and some staff at Capri Heights (previous home) claimed that it was haunted. SSR would come out of his room and hug an idol of Lord Hanuman.
He also said that it was Shruti Modi and Rhea who told the late actor that he would feel better if he stayed at Waterstone Club. Moreover, his sisters came to meet him there. They reportedly asked him about his finances, after which the actor began crying as he was worried about his finances.

Samuel had also booked four tickets for them, as he was supposed to go with his sisters, but that didn’t happen. After that he went to live in Rhea’s place.
He mentioned that SSR was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in November 2019 for four days. Soon, the couple found the house where he was living before his death.
Miranda also said that Rhea used to organize parties to keep SSR busy, but he wouldn’t get out of the room. He also revealed about the various events that happened in January 2020, when Dipesh and Pithani returned to the house.
SSR told Rhea to take him to a healing centre in Kerala but the plan didn’t take off as he went to Delhi with his sister Meetu Singh (who was the first to reach post his demise). Siddarth Pithani and his bodyguard went along with him, but after a few days, he called Rhea and told her that he is fine and is returning. She told him to stay for a few more days but he didn’t want to.
In February 2020, when Shruti Modi fractured her leg and informed SSR that she wouldn’t be able to work for four months, the actor told Rhea that he wouldn’t be able to give her her salary. After March 22nd, Miranda stopped going to his house as SSR had told him to stay at his own residence.
He also said that after that, they contacted him about the Pawna lakehouse lease, as SSR wanted to terminate the contract. On June 10th 2020, Dipesh had called Miranda and told him that they needed to sell everything from the lakehouse.
When Miranda went to SSR's home on 12th June 2020, he saw that Rhea wasn’t there, but his sister Meetu was there. He informed SSR that due to the lockdown, nothing could be sold now, and then, his sister took the owner’s number.
He also mentioned that on June 14th, Siddarth Pithani called him and asked him if he had a spare key to SSR’s room as he wasn’t opening the room, to which Samuel said that he must be sleeping.
Then after some time, he got a call from Dipesh that SSR had passed away, and that’s when they left for his home.
Miranda is one of the prime accused mentioned in the FIR by Patna Police and the CBI.
Well, the only thing that is matching to Pitani’s statement is that SSR felt his previous house was haunted.
