Now, as per recent updates, a star has been named after him post his demise. The certificate was first posted by an Instagram page called Quotely India. The image shared is of a Certificate of Registration and it reads that a star in a verified position of RA.22.121 is named Sushant Singh Rajput. It further says that the name is permanently filed in the Registry's vault. As the certificate made it to the internet, Sushant's fans are expressing how overwhelmed they are as it is an extremely emotional moment for them. .
A netizen wrote, "sushant had always been so fond of the stars & thus i found it quite fitting to name one after him. I shall forever be blessed to have witnessed such a beautiful & profound soul. may you continue to shine brightest! Yellow heart @itsSSR."

It was on June 14 that actor Sushant Singh Rajput bid farewell to the world due to suicide. The actor was reportedly suffering from depression for the past 6 months and was under medication. There was no suicide note left behind and police is interrogating those attached to him to find out the reason.
